Privacy policy.

1. Who we are

This website belongs to Mr Suits, a menswear retailer with stores in King of Prussia and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, and Lawrenceville, New Jersey, offering ready-to-wear, made-to-measure and alteration services. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Mr Suits. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].

2. What we collect

When you browse this website. The site has no accounts and no social media trackers. To count visits, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. It records things like the page you viewed, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and how quickly the page loaded. To see which of our Google ads bring people to the site and lead to appointment requests, calls and store visits, we use the Google tag from Google Ads. The tag can set cookies and tells Google things like the pages you visit, the ad you clicked, whether you tap to call, email or get directions to a store, and your device and browser type. It does not send Google anything you type into the booking form. Like every website, our hosting provider also receives basic technical information when your browser asks for a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used only to deliver the site and keep it secure.

When you request an appointment. The booking form does not send anything to this website. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. The message contains what you choose to fill in: the kind of visit, your name and email address, and if you wish, your phone number, a preferred date and a note. We receive it only if you press send.

When you register a wedding or join a wedding party. If you register a wedding on our Weddings page, we store your name, email address, mobile phone, wedding date, home store, party size and any notes you add. If you join a wedding party, we store your name, mobile phone and your role in the party. Our staff add each person’s fitting progress (measured, ordered, ready for fitting, fitted, ready, picked up) and notes about the fitting. This is stored in our website’s database at Cloudflare. To confirm the email address of the person registering a wedding, we email a one-time code through our email delivery service, Resend, which receives that email address only to deliver the code. The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is filling it in. Anyone with your wedding’s private link can see the names in the party and their fitting progress. Phone numbers, email addresses and notes are seen only by Mr Suits staff.

When you order a custom garment. When you order made-to-measure clothing, our staff record your name, mobile phone, email address, and if you give them, your address, height and weight, along with your measurements, the fabric and style you choose, notes for our tailor and the amounts you paid (never card numbers). This is stored in our website’s database at Cloudflare so we can make your order, keep your measurements for your next order and show you its progress. The order is emailed to our store inbox through Resend and, if you ask, a copy is emailed to you, along with any updates you ask us to email. You can follow your order on this website with your name and your order code. Your page shows your order, its progress and messages from the store, never staff notes or payment details. After you sign in, your phone keeps a private key so it can open your page again; signing out removes it.

When you contact us or visit the store. We receive what you include in your emails and calls. When you buy from us or leave a garment for alterations, we keep the details needed to complete that order, such as your name and contact details.

3. How we use your information

• To reply to you, and to arrange and confirm appointments.
• To provide the products and services you ask for, including alterations and made-to-measure orders.
• To organize wedding party fittings and show each party its progress on its private page.
• To make your custom orders, keep your measurements for next time and show you each order’s progress.
• To keep records we are required to keep by law.
• To keep this website running and secure.

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the Google tag described above, which measures how our own ads perform, we do not share it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host Cloudflare, which also counts visits for us, our email provider, Resend, which delivers the one-time codes that confirm an email address when a wedding is registered and the emails about custom orders, and Google, which measures how our ads perform, and only as far as they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reason you gave it to us, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it. Wedding party pages, and everything on them, are deleted automatically 90 days after the wedding date. Custom order files are kept so your next order can start from your measurements, until you ask us to delete them.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require. We will not treat you differently for asking.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, this website does not load the Google tag, so no advertising cookies are set and nothing about your visit is sent to Google for advertising.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive details, such as card numbers, by email. Wedding page links are long random codes that cannot be guessed, but anyone you send a link to can open that page, so share your group link only with your party.

10. Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. This website does not set any cookies of its own for visitors. The only exception is a login cookie for Mr Suits staff on our staff page, which customers never receive. The Google tag from Google Ads, described in section 2, can set cookies (such as _gcl_au) so we can tell when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to request an appointment.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com, or send a Global Privacy Control signal, in which case we do not load the tag at all. If we add other tools that use cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
